AYSO Region 269 is the recreational soccer region whose service area covers Makakilo, Nanakuli, Maili, Makaha, and Waianae along with Kapolei and the Kalaeloa area. Registration is open to any child aged 4 to 19, there are no tryouts and nobody is cut, and every player must play at least half of every game. The season fee covers a practice jersey, game jersey, shorts, and socks, so families mainly need to add cleats, shin guards, and a ball.
