Hawaii Youth Symphony is a long-running nonprofit serving about 700 students a year across orchestra, string academy, jazz and ukulele programs, with rehearsals at sites including the UH Manoa Music Department. Students audition or place into ensembles by level, tuition is subsidized for everyone, and financial aid, instrument loans and travel help are available.
