At the Waianae Intermediate site of After-School All-Stars Hawaii, roughly a quarter of the school’s students take part in after-school programming. Students get daily homework help and academic classes plus a wide activity menu that has included chorus and glee club, gardening, health and fitness, archery, basketball, football, volleyball, softball, and wrestling. The program is free and open to students at the school.
