The Gabby Pahinui Waimanalo Kanikapila is a free annual community gathering at Waimanalo Beach Park that celebrates Hawaiian music through informal, collaborative playing sessions. Established and emerging musicians share the day alongside hula, cultural demonstrations, and food and craft booths, making it an accessible way for keiki to hear live Hawaiian music in their own town. Past years have also included a slack key and ukulele workshop at the beach park pavilion.
