The museum runs week-long summer STEM day camps called Flight School for middle-school students (grades 6-8), offered as separate boys’ and girls’ sessions. Each day covers a different aspect of aviation history and science through hands-on STEM activities; the camp runs about 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and includes lunch, snacks and a logo t-shirt. Note: On Ford Island (active Navy base); public access is by museum shuttle from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.
