The City pool at George Fred Wright Wahiawa District Park has a 25-yard pool plus a shallow training pool, which makes it one of the few places in Central Oahu where beginners and confident swimmers can be in the water at the same time. Recreational swim at City pools is free, and seasonal learn-to-swim and water-safety classes are registered through the City’s PROS system. The American Red Cross of Hawaii partners with the City to provide certification and water safety instruction at various pool locations.
