Honolulu’s oldest botanical garden sits on 14 acres just off Vineyard Boulevard, with a conservatory, an outdoor butterfly garden, a palm garden and a prehistoric glen of cycads that keiki tend to love. Admission is $1 for children 6 to 12 and free for under-fives, free docent-led tours run several mornings a week, and the city adds seasonal garden classes and free evening concerts.
