About This Program

Hooulu Aina is a 100-acre nature preserve in Kalihi Valley run by Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services. It hosts regular volunteer community workdays in the garden, native forest, and watershed that welcome participants of all ages from keiki to kupuna, offering hands-on aina (land) education for families. Note: Registration and a signed waiver are required before each visit.
