Waikiki Yacht Club is a private member club at the Ala Wai Harbor offering a junior sailing program and a youth paddling team. Junior sailing generally serves kids roughly ages 8 to 17, and a high school sailing program is also offered. Youth activities are tied to club membership. Sailors train in small dinghies such as Toppers, El Toros, Open Skiffs, and 420s, progressing from an intro-to-racing group up to advanced racing and Junior Olympic prep.
