Camp Palehua is a nature and conservation education site on 1,600 acres in the Waianae Mountains above Makakilo, offering guided hikes, malama aina (land care) service projects, native-plant activities, and rustic cabin and tent camping. Programs are aimed at keiki, families, and community groups, with hands-on learning about native Hawaiian ecosystems and stewardship. Visits and stays are booked in advance rather than through open drop-in enrollment. Note: Nature/camping and education venue booked in advance; not a traditional open-enrollment day camp.
