Hookuaaina is a nonprofit kalo farm in Maunawili, tucked below Olomana, where families and school groups work in the loi alongside staff. Its Kupuohi education program brings school classes in for multiple visits across the kalo growth cycle, its Kukuluhou program mentors youth ages 12-25 who are looking for direction, and its Kaiaulu community workdays are open to the public one Saturday a month. Community workdays are capped at 35 people, and groups of five or more schedule through an inquiry form.
